First Encounters (for Drawithfriend77)     Marine walked down the cobblestone path steadily, watching her footing. She knew full well what it was like to walk down streets like this. And though she had done it for years, she was still prone to stumbling here and there.
     On her back rested a canvas rucksack the color of burnt orange which held the normal contents of a purse along with some school books.
     Today was a fairly nice day outside but Marine felt even better than that. The sun was shining, people were walking around fluidly, and her professors had given her minimal amounts of homework. Now all she had to do to make the day perfect was to go to her favorite ice cream parlor; the "Crème de la Crème".
     Soon the parlor came into sight and Marine felt her stomach growl ferociously. She could smell the waffle cones from a few feet away and she broke out into a fast jog.
